This was Gabe's first year of swim lessons and I'm thrilled to say he did fantastic! With how cautious our little man has always been, I wasn't sure how well swim lessons would go over. But I knew he really needed them to start to feel comfortable in the water. His teachers were great and really helped him have FUN in the water! He loved every minute of it! After a month of lessons (2 sessions) he can submerge his face all the way up to his eyebrows, blow bubbles under water, and bounce like a frog through the water taking breaths with each bounce! He is also learning to float front and back, kick his feet and many other fishy skills. :) He has had a blast and has come a long way! His teacher even dubbed him the best shark ever!

Way to go Gabe! It looks like he turned into a little fish/shark. :) Isn't it great you were lucky and got some great teachers for him. That makes such a difference. Cute pics!
He is so cute! I am so impressed! that is cool that he loves it so much and caught on so well. It sounds like he will love swimming. That is so cool! And you and Nyah are so cute!

Gabe does look like he is having a blast! I'm excited to get Jack into swim lessons. In Utah, swimming is heaven on those hot summer days. Someday we'll live close together and take our kiddos to the pool together. :) Nyah looks like a summer angel. You always dress her SO cute, too. Actually you both look beautiful. Like mother like daughter.
